I have postponed to buy a food processor for now First I bought this item on my own experience as there were no reviews earlier. the manual food processor even thou chops onion and cucumber finely the base keeps moving, so I have to keep in position such a way the other side needs a support of a wall. the slicing blade is really sharp and slices it really thin which I like in it. Does the job fairly well, but not without me … Does the job fairly well, but not without me having to hold the lid down in place as hard as I can when in use. Makes using it kind of uncomfortable. If you have arthritis or little to no upper body strength, this is probably not for you. Wish there was a way of locking the lid on. Probably will buy an electric one after this one hits the dust.
